Heather and I went with Morgan’s second grade class to the zoo today. It was fun. I was given the responsibility of not loosing Morgan and three of her classmates. Would have been more fun if it hadn’t rained. The following was documented on Heather’s myspace and copied here.
Phoenix World Life Zoo-
A day of chaperoning a 2nd grade field trip.

Time to get up
This is actually sleeping in for me. My days normally start at 02:00 -_-

I’m up.

Checked the usual.

Trying to be cute. Did it work? Didn’t think so.

Waiting for the bathroom to be free ’cause I’m too lazy to go to the ones downstairs.
I have no idea how to play, really. Probably not even holding it right.

Mornin’ business.
There’s no pictures of getting ready. I couldn’t find my contacts so I was throwing a tantrum and didn’t feel like taking pictures of me destroying my room trying to find them.

Found my contacts.
Hair done and maked up…

…and dressed.

Time to go yet? Not yet. Almost.

Mom & daughter shot. I look weird.

Time check 08:05. Time to go

Bye doggies.

Stop at the bank for some money.

Arrived at the school and actually, surprisingly found a parking space.

Mother was dubbed the team leader of the group.

Waiting for the buses and hoping it doesn’t rain.

My sister, acting like a Pokemon.

Finally, on the bus and ff to the zoo.
On to the animals!

This stupid bird bit or tried to bite every unsuspecting person that walked by.
It was kind of funny.

No more of the animals ![]()
Have to hurry back to catch the bus back to the school.

They were talking about…something.

Dinosaur egg thing attack.

Back at the school.
After all that at the zoo, they’re still wound up x_x

Time check 14:00. Time for home zZz
[end]

What a GREAT POST!
Heather is talented. Had me riveted!
Zoos are great. Some people aren’t fond of them, whole animals in captivity thing, but they do good work and a good zoo is a great place to spend a day, even a rainy day.

Yes, Heather is talented. She has an amusing sense of humor at times. She likes to take pictures.

The…mornin’ business pic was quite provocative for this blog. LOL! But seriously, I pass the exit on the highway for one on my way to work so I really should swing by on a weekend day or something.
The lions!
The Tigers!
The bears!
OH MY!
Thanks for pics and story Heather.

That’s a nice photo story. Looks like you guys had a fun trip.
Visits to the zoo make me a little guilty though. Of the way we humans deal with animals’ freedom.

Jo- visits to the zoo make me feel a little guilty too. Especially, when the animals are in cages.
